Representatives of the diplomatic corps and heads of international organizations accredited in Azerbaijan got acquainted with the consequences of the war crimes committed by the Armenian Armed Forces in the Terter region.
The members of the delegation examined the fragments of missiles fired at Terter. The diplomats were informed that the enemy regularly shelled with heavy artillery the center of the Terter region, settlements and villages, civilian infrastructure, AzerTAc reports.
The head of the executive power of the Terter region, Mustakim Mammadov, said that from September 27 to November 10, when the ceasefire agreement was signed, 16,277 rockets and artillery shells, mortar shells and 21 prohibited Smerch missiles were dropped on Terter.
According to him, as a result of the shelling, 17 civilians were killed, 63 were injured. Of the 102 public buildings in the district, 83 were damaged, and two were completely destroyed. 4,004 families suffered, 271 houses were completely destroyed, Mammadov said.
The Armenian Armed Forces deliberately attacked the city of Tartar, an aide to the President of Azerbaijan, head of the foreign policy department of the presidential administration, Hikmet Hajiyev, wrote on Twitter. He also published two videos, one from the residential building in Tartar hit by the rocket on October 29.
